When J first saw me in my new River Island sequin skirt his iris enlarged but grew used to my 'wild look' after discussing about my outfit in a monologue. Can't possibly dress casual on a weekend like this, aye? If I can have it my way I'd make J wear weekend suits and fancy pocket squares and weaved loafers. But alas, the man is not into it.
In order of appearance: starting warm Bread, Mozzarella Cheese wrapped in Parma Ham, Crab Bisque, Sous Vide Beef on French Beans, Squid Ink Pasta with Lobster, Artisan Coffee. Not in picture: Panna Cotta with Wild Berries and Tea.
The Mozzarella starter was a bomb and opened up our palette with its generous serving and aroma. Sous Vide Beef is hands down the best I've had in a local restaurant and J, who's a fan of steaks and alike said it's the best dish of the day. The food was so so good that I feel the urge to go back again! They have special promotions almost everyday and they're seriously irresistible.
As for seconds in desserts... We went to Marina Bay heaven Lady M!
I love Sundays that involve basking in great food and my favourite company, with lots of small talk and weird inside jokes. Weekends are now officially my favourite days of the week ♡ ☼
